What’s the best of being a Filipino ?

Being a Filipino is something I’m really proud of! Being a Filipino is unique! We are rich in history, natural resources, culture and many more! Living in the Philippines is a wonderful thing, appreciating every inch of what god created to us and you’ll see the real beauty. Philippines is not just reflect about Metro Manila, please forget about the horrible traffic, a crowded place and a dusty road in Manila, there are so many good place in the Philippines that will leave you awe that will filled you with astonishment and happiness that will leave you not forgetting Philippines with joy . Philippines have a lot of beautiful islands, clear as sky beaches, a lot of green mountains, a lot of tall trees, we are rich in minerals, we have a lot of stunning corals under the sea, we have a lot of history to everyone is dying to hear and Philippines have a lot of talented, generous, kind, Filipinos all over the world. If you could observe Filipinos compares to the other foreign people, Filipinos are unique. You’ll see Filipinos smiling even they are filled with a lot of problems, you’ll see them determined fighting and hard working with only inspiration from their family. Filipinos are selfless, they intend to give love than to receive. They will not mind their tiredness as long as they are giving the right love that they’re family needs. It’s always family came first no matter what happened blood is thicker than the water, no matter what you did there will still a bridge that will connect you reminding that you are a family, especially on a mother’s love. Filipinos are very religious. It’s on their weekly schedule and routine to go to church every Sunday to serve god. Wherever you go you’ll see a picture or a cross in every house of Filipinos. Filipinos love to pray, they believe that no matter how big your problem just talk to god and it will ease your pain. It just so good to talk to god by yourself, have you ever talk to god without asking what you want to your life? Just telling him what you did? Just a talk wholeheartedly with open mind and soul, but trust me it just so good that you will feel his presence. No matter how big your problem Filipinos always find a ways to have a happiness in life that will make you forget all your worries and tiredness.

SUGAR SWEETENED DRINK HIKE PRICE

By: Xander Delos Reyes Base on Mr.  Mercurio  of The Philippine Star, Philippines c arbonated drinks, energy drinks, sweetened tea and coffee, fruit drinks and other similar products are expected to see minimal to substantial price increases should the proposed excise tax adjustments on sugar-sweetened beverages be pushed by the Congress, data from the Department of Finance (DOF) showed.   According to a price survey conducted by the DOF, the implementation of House Bill 5636 or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Act could push the prices of sugar-sweetened beverages by two percent to as much as 140 percent.   Under Section 150-A of the bill, sugar sweetened beverages will be levied an excise tax of P10 per liter of volume capacity.     This is with the exemption of 100 percent natural fruit juices, 100 percent natural vegetable juices, yogurt and fruit flavored yogurt beverages, meal replacement beverages, weight loss produ...
